Proverbs 1 begins with the introduction. Solomon outlines why he wrote it and what its focus will be. It is for wisdom/instruction/gaining insight/correction/building integrity & character/mentorship/advice for the young/guidance/addition of wisdom/understanding the sayings of the wise. Solomon end his intro in verse 7 with this point...."The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom & instruction".
Solomon admonishes us to embrace wisdom and those that seek for wisdom need to accept first that all of this wisdom does you no good if you do not fear the Lord. Please share your thoughts.
